"Pan-Theon", a temple for all gods, great and small, peaceful and warlike, radiant and raw. This work revolves around the human body and spirit, the grace of movement and the power of the pose. In antiquity, each god and goddess ruled over a specific domain, yet these domains overlapped, just as the figures in this pictorial space overlap, shape, expand, and permeate one another. Where the interests of the gods clashed, drama ignited… and it was mortals who paid the price. White Thumb: Gold, silver, and bronze dominate the composition, metals closely associated with divine power in the ancient imagination. The gods used them to punish and reward, depending on how humanity behaved.
